Thiess to Extend Contract for Jellinbah East Coal Mine

Thiess Pty Ltd., Australia has this time agreed with Jellinbah Group Pty Ltd. to extend the contract term for themining service (MS) for Jellinbah East coal mine, an existing metallurgical coal mine in the State of QLD by 30 months.Accordingly, Thiess will take charge of the mining service for Jellinbah East coal mine until September 2020. Thepayback associated with the extension of a contract is A$189 million.
