South32 to Increase Metallurgical Coal Production in Illawarra Region

South32 Limited, Australia has a plan to increase the production volume of saleable coal in Illawarra region in theState of NSW in FY2018/19 (one year ending 30 June 2019) to 6.1 million tons. As the production volume of saleable coalin FY2017/18 was 4.244 million tons, the production volume is expected to be up by 1.856 million tons (43.7%) from theprior year.
