Exxaro Resources to Exploit New Thermal Coal Mining Area

On July 3 local time, Exxaro Resources Limited, a major mining company in South Africa made clear its plan tostart coal production from Belfast thermal coal project in 2020.Belfast thermal coal project aims to exploit Belfast mining area, an unexplored mining area in the Province ofMpumalanga and ship thermal coal produced at this mining area to the domestic market within South Africa as well as tothe international export market. The shipping port meant for export is Richards Bay Coal Terminal (RBCT).
