CST Canada Coal Suspends Operation of CST Coal Mine Temporarily

It became obvious that CST Canada Coal Limited (CST Coal), Canada suspended operation of CST coal mine, a metallurgical coal mine in the Province of Alberta on a temporary basis. The operation of CST coal mine was suspended in the middle of May as a countermeasure against a new-type corona virus (COVID-19), and the said coal mine is now kept in care & maintenance condition. It is not yet in sight at the present moment when the operation will restart. CST coal mine is a metallurgical coal mine in the Smoky River Coalfield in the Province of Alberta and located 400 km to the west of Edmonton. It is possible to produce an average of 2Mtpa of metallurgical coal at the said coal mine over a period of 16 years.
