Indonesia’s export of metallurgical coal is anticipated to go up drastically from now onward, which is because the new metallurgical coal projects have been brought into shape in succession in the Province of Central Kalimantan where a lot of good-quality metallurgical coals are buried, and when the metallurgical coal productions from these projects shift into high gear, the said country has a likelihood of becoming an Asia’s leading metallurgical coal exporter in the near future. The companies which are going ahead with the new project in the Province of Central Kalimantan in a positive way are PT Adaro Energy Tbk, Indonesia and Cokal Limited, Australia, of which Adaro Energy now has been developing the metallurgical coal business in the Province of Central Kalimantan through its wholly owned subsidiary, Adaro MetCoal Companies (AMC).
