Mechel Sells 2.13 Million Tons of Metallurgical Coal during January to March

Mechel PAO, a major metals and resource company in Russia sold 2.129 million tons of metallurgical coal in the period from January to March in 2020. This represents an increase of 171,000 tons (8.7%) versus the year-earlier period. The details were 1.684 million tons of coking coal concentrate (down by 0.8% from the year-earlier period) and 445,000 tons of PCI coal (up by 70.5%), and the sales volume of PCI coal went up to a large extent.
