Bechtel Awarded EPC Contract for Rio Grande LNG Project

NextDecade on 28th local time announced that it has inked an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC)contract for its Rio Grande LNG project with US-based engineering giant Bechtel Oil, Gas and Chemicals (Bechtel).The EPC is for the project’s phase 1 that plans to construct three LNG trains with a total capacity of up to 17.61million mt per annum with three LNG trains, LNG tanks and other related facilities. The cost will be US$9.565 billion intotal, which is US$543/mt.
