LNG Production Starts at Freeport LNG Terminal

LNG production has started at the Freeport LNG Terminal. Commissioning of the first LNG train at the terminalis in the final phase, and the first cargo is expected later this month.US-based engineering company McDermott announced the commencement of Train 1 on 19th local time. Thecompany, together with Zachry Group and Japan’s Chiyoda Corporation, is advancing the construction of facilities includ-ing LNG trains, and commenced supply of feedgas to Train 1 by end-July.
