摘要

In the current scenario, wild and cultivated plant cultivars and their genes are being increasingly recognized as resources of high economic value. Consequently, there is world wide policy shift from free exchange and unhindered exploitation to controlled access to these resources. This paper discusses a computer software identification system to enforce the protection regimes for plant cultivars and germplasm.
