Huaneng sought one 60,000 mt shipment of 3,400 kcal/kg NAR coal to Dandong port in northeastern China. In the tender, the utility also sought 291,000 mt of 3,800 kcal/kg NAR coal, specifying the vessel size between 45,000 mt and 70,000 mt, to Nanjing port and Shidongkou port in eastern China, Fuzhou port in southeastern China and Dalian in northeastern China.
