Chinese traders with open market positions are not in a hurry to return to the spot seaborne market for purchasing thermal coal cargoes as they see ample supply available for their end- users over the coming months, sources said Wednesday. In addition to this, the Yuan’s weakness, which hit 6.9 to the dollar Wednesday, and trade tensions between the US and China are adding to buyers’ cautious mood, sources said.
