Brussels-Barcelona took another step toward a zero-emission bus network Tuesday as the European Investment Bank agreed to a Eur73.5 million ($82.2 million) loan to replace diesel buses with lower- carbon alternatives. The loan will help public transport operator TMB introduce 116 new electric buses, 63 hybrids and 75 latest-generation CNG buses over the next two to three years.
