Vedanta’s Konkola Zambia copper mine court case set for June 20

UK-based metals and mining com- pany Vedanta Resources and its subsidiary Konkola Copper Mines (KCM) application to be joined to the confirmation hearing for the ex parte appointment of a provisional liquida- tor for KCM was heard today by the Zambian High Court, the company said Tuesday. Justice A M Banda-Bobo at the Lusaka High Court reserved her ruling provisionally until June 20, with the actual date of the ruling to be confirmed on June 17, Vedanta said.
