NZHS Conference: Taieri River field trip - 9 December 2010

This fieldtrip explored the lower Taieri River catchment—it is the second largest catchment in Otago and the Taieri is the third longest river in the country. The trip was expertly and entertainingly hosted by Matt Hickey, Clare Houlbrooke and Jens Rekker from Otago Regional Council and they provided a vivid sense of the resource management challenges facing the council and community there.
