PolyFructol Plus contains natural oligofructose from Chicory in lecithin liposomes to improve skin hydration. Already after only a single application in a shower product formulation it hydrates the skin. Especially in compromised skin such as after excessive washing PolyFructol Plus showed also a protective as well as a repairing effect. Chicory oligofructose has a long tradition as functional fiber. Applied on skin the oligofructose compounds are a perfect food source for the skin microbiota and help in recolonization after washing. The skin microbiota is well known for its essential role in maintaining a healthy skin barrier.
