Singapore—Asian seaborne iron ore prices saw support from the paper market Tuesday. S&P Global Platts assessed the 62% Fe Iron Ore Index at $86/dry mt CFR North China Tuesday, up 95 cents/dmt on the day. The front-month November TSI swap was up $1.30/dmt on the day at $83.55/dmt Tuesday. Market sources saw limited upside for iron ore prices despite a more supportive paper market due to continued weak buying interest and stronger supply.
