Atlantic met coal availability rises put pressure on prices

Atlantic metallurgical coal markets Thursday factored in lower coke pricing and weaker Australian premium HCC indices, with limited new trade to support trade levels. Markets may be reacting to a greater range of supplies and origins of coal and met cokes such as blast furnace, nut coke and breeze said to be currently available, putting pressure on metallurgical solid fuel pricing.
