Exxon Sees Tough Q2, Mum on Write-Down

Exxon Mobil told investors to brace for a rough road when it reports second-quarter results, as decreases in commodity prices linked to the coronavirus pandemic are filtering through into lower revenues. The US supermajor said second-quarter earnings in its major business lines could see fiscal headwinds of $2.1 billion-$4.8 billion in total compared to those earnings in the first quarter, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
