FieldBusPlug now connects to four devices

Launched at Hannover Fair in 2002, The FieldBusPlug (FBP) was ABB's answer to connecting low-voltage switchgear to f ieldbus. To avoid manufacturing six different fieldbus versions of the same motor starter, the switchgear units are built with 'neutral' fieldbus interfaces and when a user wants to connect it to a specific fieldbus, he obtains a fieldbus-specific FBP to complete the connection.
