Host Davant to acquire UBT United States (US) shipping agent T. Parker Host subsidiary Host

Davant LLC has reached an agreement to acquire United Bulk Terminals USA, Inc., one of the key facilities in the US Gulf (USG) coal export chain. Petroleum coke (petcoke) also moves in large quantities through UBT. UBT’s facility has sufficient acreage to accommodate considerably more coal inventory than it does now. While recent market conditions have not been favorable to Illinois Basin (ILB) thermal coal exports, most of which move through the USG, the long-term story is good.
