Producers with prompt and forward positions of urea to sell are fighting an uphill battle to try to support prices anywhere near to numbers available from key markets in prior weeks as competition for sales to the US, Europe and Latin America mounts. Demand from most enduser markets is again impacted by lack of price-clarity, and many traders are assuming an increasingly aggressive stance to secure prompt and forward business as buyers are side-lined pending the emergence of such clarity.
