Petronas hails LNG sales to Myanmar, but nation yet to enter LNG importers club

Petronas today claimed to have completed its maiden LNG deliveries to Myanmar after selling two free on-board (FOB) cargoes to joint venture power firm CNTIC VPower, the Malaysian firm said on Thursday. However, Myanmar is yet to join the LNG importers club as the first cargo under the deal is yet to unload, ship tracking data shows, with the second cargo having left Petronas’ Bintulu LNG plant only today.
