Transocean has won a host of new contracts for its drillships and semi-submersible rigs to operate offshore Canada, UK, China, Mexico, Norway and Malaysia. Transocean said that the semisub rig Henry Goodrich has landed a one-year extension from Husky offshore Eastern Canada. The contract, with a dayrate of US $275,000, is due to end in November 2019.
