Gazprom Neft Boosts Kurdistan Output

Russia’s Gazprom Neft has commissioned a third production well at the Garmian Block’s Sarqala field in Iraq’s semiautonomous region of Kurdistan, boosting daily production by 25% to 35,000 b/d, the oil arm of the state-run natural gas giant Gazprom said Thursday. Potential production of the new Sarqala-3 well is estimated at 12,000 b/d, Gazprom Neft said. The well runs to a total depth of 3,291 meters.
