UK-based Premier Oil said Wednesday that it will start to decommission its North Sea Shelley field this summer. Premier said the field - which only started up last August - could become economically unfeasible sometime this year. The company says the field has produced more than 750,000 bbl since coming on line (IOD Aug.26,p7).
