SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Southeast Asia’s ethylene trades were seen lower at around May 2003 levels as downstream activity was weighed down by the worsening coronavirus outbreak in the region, which has prompted governments to step up infection control measures. The demand outlook for the rest of April and May is bleak, with the stricter social distancing measures in the major market of Indonesia likely to further dampen the country’s upcoming seasonal production lull.
