Komatsu lands trucks on BHP iron ore sites

This is understood to be the first time BHP has bought Komatsu trucks for any of its iron ore mine sites. The deal comes just a few months after Rio Tinto bought a fleet of 20 Caterpillar 793F autonomous trucks for its $2.6 billion Koodaideri mine. The first of the 290t payload Komatsu 930E trucks is expected to be deployed to South Flank next month.
