Druzhba clean-up continues

Normal quality Urals is making its way through the Druzhba pipeline system following the recent contamination of the grade with organic chlorides. But the restoration of supplies to refneries in central Europe could still be a week away. Belarus’ 323,000 b/d Mozyr refnery started receiving crude with organic chloride content below the maximum permitted 10ppm on 6 May. But the refnery had not started processing uncontaminated crude because it was still cleaning equipment afected by of-specifcation supplies, Belarusian state-owned news agency Belta reported on the same day.
