Demand for Japanese scrap has strengthened in Vietnam, whereas buyers from South Korea are passive due tosufficient stocks. The latest transaction of Japanese scrap to Vietnam was recorded on Tuesday at $176/t CFR Phu My for 30,000 t ofHMS 2, $6/t up from the contracts registered last week.
