Consumers continue depressing export prices for CIS scrap

Turkish consumers continue putting pressure on CIS scrap exporters, citing negative trends in both domestic and export markets for longs. Over the week prices have sunk by $8-10/t. However, deals were concluded only when suppliers needed urgent sales. A sale at $355/t CFR has been registered from Rostov-on-Don, down by $10/t from nominal prices of last week.
