US DOC finds dumping of GOES imports from four countries

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has determined the fact of dumping of grain-oriented electrical steel (GOES) from China, the Czech Republic, Russia and South Korea. However, the positive decision of the US International Trade Commission (ITC) is still required for imposition of duties. High dumping margins for several producers (Czech Republic’s Sujani Enterprises, China’s Baoshan Iron & Steel, Russia’s NLMK) are explained by the fact that those companies have not provided the Department with required information.
