A new online pharmacy where your whole team can do some learning

A NEW online pharmacy was launched recently, but this one dispenses "learning challenges" for the whole pharmacy team. Although the Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education is the proprietor, no login is required and so the website can be accessed by anj'one, including pharmacists in Scotland and Wales. There are currently three topics to choose from - chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and cancer - and each is presented in the context of a pharmacy floorplan. Visitors can click on different "hotspots" within the pharmacy to be presented with various learning actiwties, each intended to take only 10 to 15 minutes. The intention is that learning is "bite-sized", says Lesley Grimes, CPPE senior pharmacist, learning development, and programme manager.
