New safety charter gets suDDort from all sides

INDIVIDUALS must be able to raise concerns relating to health and social care in a just, open and transparent environment, according to the "Speaking up" charter signed by 28 healthcare organisations, including the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. Safety should be at the heart of all service delivery and it is the responsibility of everyone involved to support those who report concerns and safety issues in the public interest, says the charter.
