A remarkable phamavy for Aberdeen!

EARLIER this royal jubilee year, an article in The Journal described how Peter Squire was appointed chemist and druggist to Princess Victoria in 1836. But he was just the first in a long line of pharmacists who became holders of royal warrants. Warrant holders were located around Britain, often close to royal residences. One such was the firm of Davidson & Kay in Aberdeen, which supplied the royal family at Balmoral between 1857 and 1944.
