Clause should be removed

In supporting the conscience clause, Anna Sweeting-Hempsall (PJ, 24 September 2011, p367) states that the General Pharmaceutical Council "should be upholding its duty to protect the rights of registrants by strengthening the conscience clause, rather than pressuring these pharmacists into compromising their beliefs or driving them from the profession".
