A disastrous proposal

I must record my utter dismay at the Government's proposal that the Royal Pharmaceutical Society should split (PJ,24 February,p207).This is particularly surprising so soon after the Privy Council and,therefore,the Department of Health agreed to the granting of a new Royal Charter that embraced the regulatory and representational roles within its Objects.
