To the Editor: This article is interesting and the conclusion, that ureteral stenting after uncomplicated ureteroscopic lithotripsy could be unnecessary, is well analyzed and the results reached are important in daily clinical practice. Questions may arise regarding whether the diameter of the stone has a role in terms of complications and, if confirmed, whether we should consider it a variable in the decision making process regarding ureteral stent placement.
