Copper alloy rods, bars and sections up on rising industrial production

World output of copper alloy rods, bars and sections (RBS) reached 762,000t in Q1 2011, a 6.4% increase from the previous year. The rebound in demand comes predominantly from several end-use sectors, especially manufacturing, but remains constrained by a sluggish construction sector.
