摘要

A one-pot reaction of o-phenylenediamines with acetone in the presence of catalytic amounts of different organic acids under solvent-free conditions afforded 1,5-benzodiazepine derivatives in excellent yields at room temperature.The supramolecular organization of the co-crystals of the benzodiazepine with trimesic acid and picric acid shows ladder and brick wall superstructures via the formation of conventional and nonconventional hydrogen bonding networks.
