摘要

The primary and #beta#-secondary kinetic isotope effects in the oxidation of secondary alcohols with dimethyl dioxirane were measured. The substantial primary and the absence of a #beta#-secondary kinetic isotope effect support a concerted mechanism for the title reaction.
