Tigers Realm Coal buys $5 million Russian port for coking coal project

Australia-listed Tigers Realm Coal has acquired aport and coal shipment terminal for its 80%-owned NorthAmaam coking coal project in Russia’s far eastern province ofChukotka for $5.1 million, it said Tuesday.Beringovsky port and its associated coal terminal arelocated 35 km north of the company’s Amaam North cokingcoal deposit and proposed mine. The port currently ships700,000 mt/year of coal from the nearby Nagornaya mine.
