Chinese oil product output up amid flat refinery runs

Chinese domestic oil product output rose on the year in May despite a slight drop in refinery throughput, detailed data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed Thursday. Refinery throughput edged down 0.1% year on year last month, and fell 1.2% from April. Output of most products recorded year-on-year rises of between 2.6% and 14.9% in May, except gasoil.
