Rosneft reverses oil output decline on more drilling

Moscow—Russia’s biggest crude producer, Rosneft, increased its liquids output by 1.3% yearon- year to 4.15 million b/d in the third quarter, due to intensified drilling operations that helped boost recovery rates and overcome natural declines at a number of its key brownfield sites. Rosneft’s crude output had fallen for the last two and a half years, contracting by around 1% in 2014, 2015 and Q1 2016.
