Copenhagen—The Danish oil and gas industry’s downward trajectory will be faster than previously expected, with mature fields dwindling and no new undeveloped major discoveries to replace them, Danish Energy Agency forecasts showed Friday. The DEA said it has written down expected crude production from 2015-19 by 3% to 9.2 million cubic meters, or 159,000 b/d, compared with its forecast last year.
