Vietnam’s February crude output up 8.7% on year

Vietnam produced 1.296 million mt (339,379 b/d) of crude oil in February, up 8.7% from a year earlier, data released Friday by the General Statistics Office showed. The estimated volume was down 11.54% from January due to the Lunar New Year holi- day which fell between February 15-23 this year, the GSO said. The country is estimated to have exported 800,000 mt (209,428 b/d) of crude oil in February, up 20.8% year on year but down 1.85% from January.
