Rosneft offers offshore exploration blocks to India’s OVL

Mumbai—Russia’s Rosneft has offered 10 offshore exploration blocks for joint development to India’s ONGC Videsh Ltd, the overseas arm of state-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corp. Ltd., India’s junior minister for petroleum and natural gas said Friday. The Russian exploration and production company has offered nine offshore blocks in Barents Sea Offshore and one in Black Sea to OVL for joint exploration, the minister, Panabaaka Lakshmi told the Parliament in a written reply, according to information provided by the ministry.
