Iraq's Rumaila field ramps up to capacity

London-Production at the giant BP-operated Rumaila oil field in southern Iraq is now ramp- ing back up to 100% capacity, an industry source said Thursday, after production was curtailed then completely shut in due to weather-related export constraints earlier in the month. The production ramp-up comes despite BP reducing staffing numbers at Rumaila in response to violence triggered by two separate alleged anti-Shia incidents involving expatriate workers at Baker Hughes and Sch- lumberger camps at the field.
