Baghdad-State-owned PetroChina will take a 25% stake in the giant West Qurna 1 oil field in southern Iraq from operator Exxon- Mobil, Iraq's Deputy Prime Minister for Ener- gy, Hussain al-Shahristani, said Wednesday in a statement. The statement was issued after Shah- ristani met with PetroChina Iraq President Wang Shali earlier Wednesday.
