London-The UK government replaced its controversial energy minister John Hayes on March 28, after just seven months in the job, and also pledged to secure "billions of pounds" of future investment for the country in a new oil and gas strategy. In a mini cabinet reshuffle by UK prime minister David Cameron, Hayes was replaced by Michael Fallon, a Conservative MP who will expand his existing role as the UK's business minister at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.
