Libyan oil output slips on Sirte maintenance: NOC

London—Libya’s oil production has slipped to 587,000 b/d after the shut-in of some fields operated by the Sirte Oil Company, a senior official at state-owned National Oil Corp. said. Total Libyan output is down from a recent high of some 700,000 b/d achieved after the Sharara and Elephant (El Feel) fields reopened in September after being shut in by protesters over the summer.
